The Above & Beyond the Call of Duty (ABCD) Scholarship

The Teens for Courage Above and Beyond the Call of Duty (ABCD) Scholarship is for the student who deserves special recognition for their helpfulness, civility, and leadership in promoting healthy relationships. Students who have demonstrated behaviors of teamwork; effective communication with others and who have treated partners as equals regarding all things large and small. Scholarship recipients are recognized at the Teens for Courage Annual Teen Summit in Charlotte, NC.

Jordan Dillahunt

Jordan Dillahunt

Jordan is the president of the Myers Park Teens for Courage Club. She also is a Board Member Representative for the JKFFC Teens for Courage. Since joining the club, she has been a selfless member of the club and demonstrated that she is a go-getter. She is very resourceful, organized, and is quick to volunteer her time. In addition to her involvement with TFC, she is a participant in Model United Nations, Black Student Union, Mock Trial, a Myers Park Ambassador and a Right Moves for Youth Ambassador. Through her work with her numerous organizations, Jordan has been able to spread awareness to her peers about the different types of abuse experienced within a relationship.

Ben's amazing leadership skills and dedication to various teens for courage events. Ben has consistently demonstrated his commitment to positively impacting by being the first to volunteer and organize various activities and events for Teens for Courage. His ability to participate in multiple activities and rally fellow students to join these events shows his influential leadership within our school community. Beyond his athletic achievements, Ben's commitment to service and his commitment to inspiring others make him an ideal candidate for the JKFCC scholarship.
